FAQ
FAQ
Quick answers about accounts, the client, rates, the shop, Assist Mode and the rules, each pointing at the page with the full detail.
What do you need help with?
Account
The game says my ID is unregistered.
Almost always an out-of-date client, not your account. Install the client update from the Download page and it clears.
I forgot my password.
Use the password reset page; it emails a link to the address you registered with. If you no longer have that address, open a ticket and expect to be asked things only the account owner would know.
I forgot my PIN.
Sign in on the Account page and press Email Me a PIN Reset Link. The link goes to your registered email, and you choose a new PIN at your next game login.
Can I run two clients?
A main and a support character is normal play. More than that, or automating across many accounts to farm, is not. The limit is stated on the Rules & Policies page.
Client
The launcher will not patch.
Usually the game folder is somewhere Windows protects. Move it out of Program Files to somewhere like C:\Games and try again. If your antivirus is quarantining files, add the folder to its exclusions. More on the Support page.
The game crashes as soon as it opens.
On Intel laptops the launcher applies a graphics fix by itself, so most of those crashes are already handled. If it still crashes, open a ticket with the name of your antivirus and any error text; anti-cheat and antivirus software interact badly often enough that it is the first thing worth checking.
Is there anti-cheat?
Yes, on every connection. It is why an old client is refused rather than let in. What it means for you is on the Rules & Policies page.
Playing
What are the rates?
1x, and the baseline never moves. Temporary boosts exist and are opt-in, and every evening has a bonus EXP event. The Events page has the times, and the Game Guide lays out the rest.
Why can I not reach a town or take a job I know exists?
When is the next episode?
Release dates are announced on the News page first.
Where is a particular NPC?
Every custom NPC, what it does and its exact coordinates: Where to find everything. It refreshes itself from the server daily.
Is there a wiki?
Yes, and every figure on it is read from the running server rather than typed, so it does not drift out of date. Start at the Wiki.
Shop
Is this pay to win?
Cash Points buy cosmetics, convenience, consumable buffs and Assist Mode. They do not buy weapons, body armour or cards. The one piece of permanent gear they buy is headgear with modest stats, each hat listed with its numbers. The honest full answer, including what they do buy, is on the Cash Points page.
How do I get Cash Points?
Through a private Discord ticket, confirmed by a person against a receipt. The steps, the accepted payment methods and whether top-ups are currently open are all on the Cash Points page.
Can I get a refund?
Cash Points are not refundable once credited, and we fix our own mistakes with no time limit. The full terms are on the Rules & Policies page.
What is in the Monthly Costume Package, and what are the odds?
Every prize and its real chance, read from the package script: the Costume Package page.
Can I sell items for real money?
Through the RMT Marketplace, yes: it escrows and records the sale. Real-money deals anywhere else are not permitted and are grounds for removal. See Rules & Policies.
Assist Mode
What is Assist Mode?
The official automation feature: your character fights, loots, uses potions and sits to recover on its own, within limits you set. It earns less than playing by hand and is the only sanctioned way to automate. Details, with every figure read from the live server: Assist Mode in the wiki.
Does the free tier really exist?
Yes. It fights, loots, uses healing potions and sits to recover. Paid tiers add skill slots, the monster filter and a better rate. What each tier gets is in the wiki article.
Gameplay
Can other players attack me?
Only under two systems, both from base level 60. A player who has switched on PK Mode can attack you outside towns; they are marked the moment they strike, anyone may hit them back, and killing an innocent player turns them red and costs them a bounty. And during a Field Conquest war the drawn field is a battleground for an hour. Below level 60 nobody can attack you outside PvP rooms. The PK Mode article and the Events page have the rules.
Assist Mode
Can I use my own bot instead?
No. Third-party bots, macro software, packet tools and modified clients are blocked at the client level and are grounds for removal. Rules & Policies.
Rules
Will staff ever ask for my password?
Never. Not for a top-up, not for support, not in game, not in Discord. Anyone who does is not staff, whatever their name looks like.
I was scammed. Can you recover my items?
Open a ticket right away with names, what was traded and when. Scam attempts result in a permanent ban. Trades made outside the Marketplace we never saw and usually cannot reverse, which is why it exists. Rules & Policies.
How do I contact a GM?
Open a ticket on Discord. It is the reliable way to reach staff and the only one that leaves a record; players have no chat commands, including for contacting a GM. The Support page has the steps.
Pre-Register
What does pre-registering get me?
Your account, and a reward package that grows with every milestone the whole community reaches. Signing up creates your account once you confirm your email and choose your login; the package arrives at launch as a personal code. The current package and the milestones are on the Pre-Register page.
When can I actually play?
Your account exists as soon as you confirm your email and choose your login, but it opens on a date: 15 October if you ticked the closed-beta box, launch day if you did not. Until then the game says you are prohibited from logging in until that date; that is the hold, not a ban.
Will my beta characters survive launch?
Their names do; their progress does not. At launch every account is reset to a clean start: your username and your characters' names carry over, levels, items and Zeny do not. Top-ups only open at launch, after the reset. The Cash Points page says this before you send anything.
What happens between the closed beta and launch?
The closed beta ends on 31 October. After that the server is closed to players while we reset every account and prepare for launch, which is planned for 15 November. Your username and character names are kept; you do not need to sign up again.
