Bug Bounty
Bug Bounty
Find a real bug in the Project Ragnarok Online closed beta and get paid by GCash: 50, 100 or 500 pesos per bug.
Find a bug, get paid
Starts with the closed beta on 15 October. The beta is for pre-registered
players: pre-register free to take part.
The closed beta exists to find what is broken before launch. Find a real bug, report it first, and we pay you by GCash.
| ₱50 | Text or visual error. A wrong description, a missing picture, a typo in an NPC's dialog, a sign in the wrong place. |
|---|---|
| ₱100 | Gameplay bug. Something that does not work the way the game says it should: a quest that cannot be finished, a skill or item with the wrong effect, an NPC that gets you stuck, a reward that is not given. |
| ₱500 | Exploit. Anything that creates items, zeny or points that should not exist, or gets around a limit: duplication, a reward that can be claimed twice, a way past a cap. |
The pool is ₱5,000 for the whole closed beta, and one player can earn up to ₱1,000. Payouts go out by GCash every Sunday for the bugs confirmed that week. When the pool is used up, this page will say so.
How to report
- Open a Discord ticketJoin our Discord, go to #support and press Create ticket. The time your ticket was opened is what decides who reported first.
- Show us how to make it happenYour character name, the map or NPC, what you did step by step, what happened and what you expected. Add a screenshot or a short clip.
- We check itStaff try your steps on the server. If it happens for us too and nobody reported it before you, it is confirmed, and you get a reply in the ticket with the amount.
- Get paid on SundaySend your GCash number in the ticket. It must be your own GCash, in your own name.
The rules
| Who can join | Any closed beta player aged 18 or older. Staff and GM accounts cannot. |
|---|---|
| First report wins | Each bug is paid once, to the first ticket that reports it. A bug we already know about is not paid; we will tell you if yours is one. |
| It has to be repeatable | We must be able to make it happen ourselves by following your steps. |
| Report exploits, do not use them | Using an exploit for gain, or sharing it with others before it is fixed, loses the bounty and can lose the account. Reporting it straight away is what the ₱500 is for. |
| One bug, one report | The same cause reported in five places is one bug. Splitting it up does not multiply the reward. |
| What is not a bug | Suggestions, balance opinions, and things working as designed (1x rates, the episode order, Assist Mode earning less than playing by hand). Problems caused by your own PC, connection or third-party programs. We still want to hear about them; they just are not paid. |
| Who decides | Staff decide whether a report is a bug and which of the three it is. That decision is final. |
| Limits | ₱5,000 in total, ₱1,000 per person. Reports that arrive after the pool is used up, or after the closed beta ends on 31 October 2026, are not paid. |
