What is planned from launch to December 2027: a new episode every two months, in the order they first came out.
Roadmap
After launch we plan a new episode every two months, in the order the episodes first came out in Korea. Each one opens the towns, dungeons, monsters and jobs it originally added, and nothing from later episodes.
These are plans, not promises. The months are what we are aiming for. A release moves if it is not ready, and no exact day is set until it is announced on Discord and in News & Events.
Month by Month
| Oct 2026 Closed beta | The closed beta runs from 15 to 31 October for pre-registered players. Beta progress is reset before launch; your username and character names carry over. |

| Nov 2026 Launch | The server opens on 15 November with Episode 1: the original Rune-Midgarts towns and dungeons, and the six first second classes (Knight, Priest, Wizard, Blacksmith, Hunter, Assassin). The First to 99 race starts the same moment. |
| Dec 2026 Episode 2: Lutie | Lutie, the snow-covered Christmas town, its fields and the Toy Factory dungeon, with three new MVPs. |
| Feb 2027 Episode 3: Comodo | Comodo, its fields, the casino and the beach dungeon. Bard and Dancer open. New MVP: Tao Gunka. |
| Apr 2027 Episode 4: War of Emperium | War of Emperium and the guild castles, the guild dungeons, Turtle Island and the God Item seal quests. New MVP: Turtle General. |
| Jun 2027 Episode 5: Juno | Juno and its fields, Juperos, Magma Dungeon and the Monster Museum. Crusader, Monk, Rogue, Sage and Alchemist open. |
| Aug 2027 Episode 6: Beyond Midgard | Amatsu, Gonryun and Jawaii, their dungeons, and the Izlude Arena, with three new MVPs. |
| Oct 2027 Episode 7: Umbala and Louyang | Umbala with its fields and dungeon, and Louyang with its dungeon. New boss: Gryphon. |
| Nov 2027 First anniversary | One year of Project Ragnarok Online on 15 November. |
| Dec 2027 Episode 8: Niflheim | Niflheim, the Gefenia fields, the airship network and the Level 4 weapon quests. |
After Episode 8 comes Episode 9, Rebirth, which opens all thirteen transcendent classes. Its date will be set once Episode 8 is out.
Choosing a Class
Not every second class is available at launch. Knight, Priest, Wizard, Blacksmith, Hunter and Assassin are open from day one. Bard and Dancer follow with Episode 3, and Crusader, Monk, Rogue, Sage and Alchemist with Episode 5. If you have your heart set on one of the later classes, you can level its first job now (an Acolyte for a future Monk, for example) and change job the day it opens.

| Seasonal events | We plan events around Christmas, Valentine's Day, summer and Halloween. Each one is announced with its dates before it starts. |
